This impressive and rare Antique Austro-Hungarian Renaissance Revival Turquoise and Paste Locket dates circa 1880. In the centre there is a paste ruby stone surrounded by little turquoise stones. The piece is enamelled and decorated with paste red and turquoise stones around the edges. The locket opens to reveal the yellow metal interior with two photo compartments. Reverse has a floral and scrolled decoration which made the piece even more interesting.
Period: Reneissance Revival, Austria-Hungary, circa 1880

Condition: Enamel is worn, some wear and scratches due to age.
