Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Opal & Diamond Trilogy Ring

A beautiful Victorian antique ring set with three graduated oval cabochon opals displaying vivid play-of-colour in greens, blues, and flashes of yellow. The opals are separated and flanked by four old-cut diamonds in claw settings, arranged in a classic Victorian five-stone configuration. The gold mount is richly detailed, with scrolling foliate engraving to the shoulders. The setting is open-backed, allowing light to pass through the stones, and the shank is a plain polished gold band typical of the era.
