Antique Victorian Bohemian Garnet Bangle

An exquisite antique Victorian bohemian garnet bangle from the late 19th century set with beautiful deep red garnets. Garnets were originally sourced in the region of Bohemia, known as the Czech Republic today, and were highly sought after in the late 19th century. Garnets deep red colour is often seen as a representation of passion and enduring love.
The bangle has four rows of red garnets with central part slightly wider than the rest of the piece. The band is made of silver, stamped inside and is held securely around the wrist with a box clasp and safety chain at the side. The clasp and safety chain are both secure and in good working condition.

Condition: Wear and scratches, some old repair to the stones, slightly bended inside
