Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival 9ct Rose Gold and Mixed Metal Locket

This magnificent and very rare Victorian Etruscan Revival locket dates circa 1880 and is crafted in 9ct yellow and rose gold, featuring flower bouquet motif on the front, accented by subtle Etruscan Revival filigree work. The locket is also decorated with a rose gold triangle and a circular frame which gives a lovely contrast between different colours of gold. The locket opens to reveal two photo compartments. It closes securely and it has two small clasps to secure the locket. This piece is one of the kind and we never came across this type of design from the Victorian Etruscan Revival period.
